The new Audi A8 comes with an adaptive air suspension which was developed by Audi and Continental together. The adaptive air suspension on the Audi A8 guarantees the optimum combination of agile handling and the greatest possible amount of comfort through the use of an intelligent air spring suspension with continuous damper adjustment. Thus, the control unit of the system recognizes, for example by sensors different loading conditions and adjusts the chassis parameters accordingly. To the 
springs, a compressor for automatic leveling fills as needed with compressed air. The spring means always remain constant, the suspension geometry remains unaffected by the load. The comfort benefits as well as the dynamics of this technology, first introduced in the Audi allroad quattro and the A8 has been further developed.
In addition to the complete air suspension system with springs, dampers, air supply, sensors and control electronics developed and the company also supplies transmission oil cooler and power steering lines, brake hoses and various sealing profiles for this car.
